Why do you need a charging management system?
Load management is required if there is not enough power available for all chargers at the grid connection point.
Our dynamic load management takes into account the remaining load at the location and optimizes the charging points so that they are controlled efficiently, taking into account the load limit and corresponding prioritization.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of charging stations that I can network with Birdtical Charging?
A charging management system is required as soon as the grid connection power is not sufficient to operate several charging points – typically from the second charging point onwards.
We recommend the use of dynamic load management from the fifth charging point onwards.
Our load management is scalable and not limited: We operate charging parks with up to 300 charging points and can expand the number further if required.
What are the financial benefits of load management?
Birdtical E-Mobility offers you numerous cost benefits: you avoid any necessary expansion of grid connection capacity and reduce grid usage fees by capping peak loads (peak load shaving).
The system also optimizes the use of PV electricity for charging vehicles, which not only brings additional cost savings, but also contributes to increasing sustainability.
Can I use Birditcal E-Mobility (primarily) to charge my surplus PV electricity?
With Birdtical E-Mobility, we offer you tailor-made solutions for PV surplus charging.
Our system ensures that the surplus electricity from your photovoltaic system is first used to charge your electric vehicles before it is fed into the grid.
How is charging management integrated into a CPO backend?
Our charging management integrates seamlessly with common CPO backend platforms.
All OCPP-based functions, in particular authorization management, are processed in real time via Birdtical ArchiteX and MultipleX.
How does a project with Birdtical work?
Based on your project master data, we use the Birdtical system configurator to create a customized technical architecture.
This forms the basis for the installation of meters, sub-distribution boards, the ArchiteX or MultipleX of all load units.
On the installation date, we support you in parameterizing the components and configuring the load management.
This is followed by a functional test and the handover of the charging solution to operational use.
